Cytomorphological examination allows appreciation of the inflammatory process, structural-functional state of the urogenital tract epithelium, determination of the intracellular inclusions that are characteristic for some intracellular infections (chlamydia, ureaplasma and mycoplasma), detection of the causes of the inflammatory processes and elaboration of a diagnostic plan.
